Hi! I was wondering if you bleached your hair before dying it. I have very dark brown (almost black) hair, would you recommend bleaching it prior?? Also, how long did the color stay? As you can probably tell, I am a beginner... haha. Thanks! :)

The flash from my camera kind of darkened the color but it looks so nice in the sun, and it really compliments the red tint I put in the rest of my hair a few weeks ago.
