Purple Hair, Then Purple and Black

Loving Ali’s awesome purple hair color, Pravana vivid violet is always such a gorgeous shade of purple!

Products used: Generic conditioner, pravana vivids violet, quick blue bleach, 50 vol. developer, ion colors in black

I submitted a bit ago a photo of me with pink hair that I had tried to make purple. Well I succeeded this time.

First I lightened my hair pretty much to white, as seen in the first photo (yes, I lost many inches during this process- deep conditioner was my friend)
Then I dyed my hair with a pravana vivids in violet diluted with conditioner.
I darkened it a little when it began to fade, and finally the other day put black under my bangs. (I had it on the shaved half of my head before but it was hard to see).

I’m really happy with my color and am glad I got it right.
