mine is natural brown now, but blond ends but are now orange by accident lol, cheap brown shampoo turned it orange and now look like a feral cat hehehe. You look exactly like Summer! XOX
Hannah’s Dip Dyed Hair

i thought i’d submit a pic of my sort of dip-dyed-ish hair to your website since it was your blog that partially inspired me to do something more fun to my always just blonde hair. i had my friend freida, who is in hair school at the moment, do it for her portfolio. My hair is usually pretty blonde, but to take out the brassiness she toned it with 3 parts 9V and 1 part 9N (so it wouldn’t come out overly violet in color since my hair tends to pick up that purple tone pretty quickly). I’m not sure of the brand of toner she used but she left it on for about 15-20 min. After washing/rinsing she dried it till it was damp and then applied the color, taking sections of my hair over foil and brushing it on (she only overlapped a little of the colors where they meet, in other words she did it half pink half purple) She used Rusk Scream brand in Hot Pink and Purple Burst. She then left it on in the foils (no heat) for around 20 minutes. She rinsed my hair thoroughly making sure no excess color was left, and then voila! this is what you get. i will say that after about 4-5 more washings the color was almost all gone.. so in the future i’ll be sure to look for a brand that might deliver a longer lasting effect. anyway, thanks for the inspiration!
