How did u get your hair black and purple did u just dye the top of it or is it layerd that way

Manic Panic never sticks to my hair, I use Punky Colors which works like a charm and I used the purple for my hair in the past- it looks identical to this image. Also try Special Effects, but that washes out quicker.
I used Manic Panic also known as MANIC. I have the purple haze in my hair and it is a very pretty color. It all depends on what color you want it to fade to. I didn't want mine to fade to a greenish so that's why I got Purple Haze because it fades to a pink. Manic Panic is a great brand but you have to use it right, bleach is def. one of the things you need or it will hardly show up. You leave it in for about 30 minutes and then wash it out with COLD water. When you take showers for the first couple of timews you will see some of the color come out onto the shampoo normal. And if you want it to stay in longer use cold water while washing your hair. I have also used Red Passion and Hot Hot Pink but I like Purple Haze the best and so do a lot of people. I've gotten the most compliments from it. ((:
If you manage to lighten your hair to the pink/red stage with bleach, manic panic purple haze will give a very similar effect.
I think she might have used Manic Panic's Ultra Violet. I'd go with their Amplifyed formula. You can see what it looks like here: http://www.manicpanic.com/besthaircolor/ultraviolet.tml. It's really close. You should bleach it first to a light blonde and then use either Manic Panic Amplifyed in Ultra Violet for her bright purple or if you can only find Manic Panic's Ultra Violet in their original cream formula that will work too, make sure you leave it on for like, two hours for maximum depth, leaving it on longer will not make it darker, just deeper. It helps to wrap it up in a plastic bag or saran wrap and hitting it with a blow dryer every few minutes. Hope that helps you guys!
I had the same exact color and I used Manic Panic and N'Rage that can be found at Hottopic or Sally's beauty supply. I recommend bleaching your hair first and let it sit 20 minutes longer than the bottle says. I rarely had to redye my hair unless it was to touch up my roots.
would love to know the name of the dye... ive used alll of the manic panic purples and none of them work, while pink and red stay perfectly. Someone please post what the brand is and specific color??
