Blood Red Hair
Amazing bright red hair color sent in to us, so gorgeous here is how it was achieved:
Naturally, I have medium-dark brown hair. I had my hair highlighted professionally with bleach, and then three months later my hair was re-highlighted. So as a base I had about a 50/50 mix of brown and light blonde. It’s worth getting your hair professionally bleached! They know what they’re doing and they take the scary out of the whole thing.
At home, I covered my hair with Special Effects hair color in Blood Red. For the front bits, I mixed Blood Red with Hot Lava (from Special Effects) to get more of a fire truck red (:
