A very exciting hair color submission from Ariana. Her hair is absolutely stunning in so many different ways. I LOVE it! and now I am inspired to get a similar haircut too!
My best friend Kaitlyn Explosion has been coloring my hair for over 6 years now! Back around 2006 I was in a blue phase and Kaitlyn created many variations on the peacock theme using Manic Panic Bad Boy Blue, Atomic Turquoise, and Shocking Blue. We worked at an Aveda salon together back then so we used their lighteners to bleach my hair to the lightest possible platinum, then used B and V color boosters to tone the hair to the icy violet you see in the gradation photo (dscn6448 and headshotbig). A lot of foiling was involved. The girl with the pink hair is Kaitlyn!
In the headshotbig photo, I have also put in bits of plastic tubing to accent the hairstyle.
